Thursday evening session for the Senior group mixing our “focus points” of the two previous days incorporating underwater kicking and turn skills through the workout.
Aerobic recovery focused Wednesday evening session with mostly relaxed intervals allowing the athletes to include a good amount of stroke work during the sets of 25s.
Sprint focused Wednesday evening session incorporating race skills (starts, turns, and finishes) and some kicking for active recovery – all three parts followed the same pattern
Aerobic and speed focused Tuesday for the SUMSIM group starting with another early morning circuit session including active recovery elements.
First official day of training in Solothurn for the new season. Aerobic and sprint focused Monday evening workout for the Senior group integrating a good amount of fly kicking.
Monday evening starting the new week of training with an active recovery session through aerobic tempo changes on relaxed intervals.
Friday evening session for the Senior group starting with relaxed aerobic work and finishing with another short overspeed set for the second day in a row.
Sprint focused Saturday morning workout for the SUMSIM group. Allowing for “full recovery” (2-3′ rest) between all dive efforts and aiming to create a competitive atmosphere by racing same strokes or setting up “chase races”.
