Aerobic focused Tuesday with an optional morning session following the three day championship meet. Both workouts included speed work and the evening practice also some pace work.
Aerobic and sprint focused Wednesday afternoon workout. Neither a high volume or high intensity session but some basic and good quality work.
Post-meet recovery evening workout for the Sharks this Monday. A mostly relaxed aerobic focused session including some speed work to “keep the momentum” from the meet.
Threshold focused Tuesday starting with some early morning circuit and aerobic work to prepare for a fast afternoon.
Mid-week pacing session for the Sharks working on switching through the different gears while keeping things relatively “relaxed” with plenty of rest and recovery between the sets.
Aerobic focused Monday afternoon workout for the SUMSIM group to start their week. Integrating a few short “aerobic build” sets to include some “speed work”.
Aerobic focused Tuesday for the Sharks including some speed work with descending efforts and sprints.
Aerobic and kicking focused Saturday morning session to finish this week of training for the SUMSIM group following two days of threshold work.
Aerobic focused Monday for the Sharks starting with an “optional” morning session for just a few athletes of the men’s team providing options for each and a full team workout in the evening.
