Aerobic focused Monday afternoon workout for the SUMSIM group to start their week. Integrating a few short “aerobic build” sets to include some “speed work”.
Aerobic focused Tuesday for the Sharks including some speed work with descending efforts and sprints.
Aerobic and kicking focused Saturday morning session to finish this week of training for the SUMSIM group following two days of threshold work.
Aerobic focused Monday for the Sharks starting with an “optional” morning session for just a few athletes of the men’s team providing options for each and a full team workout in the evening.
Lucky Friday 13th threshold focused afternoon workout for the SUMSIM group. Second day in a row with some sort of anaerobic work, although today only during the first hour and with more of a “switching gears” approach.
Optional Sunday morning workout with some relaxed aerobic recovery.
Thursday with some active recovery through mostly relaxed aerobic work in the morning followed up with another threshold focused session in the afternoon.
Saturday morning with a “racing” focused workout. This session is the detailed plan for our “Junior” athletes providing them with a pre-set and options for the swim down.
Mid-week threshold focus afternoon workout for the SUMSIM group. Each block of the main part included a “prep swim” and some recovery with fins.
Aerobic and speed focused Friday for the Sharks. Both sessions today integrate short sprints and some pace work.
