This is an Individual Medley and freestyle speed workout done short course yards at Plantation.
Apr 6, 2015 – Scarborough Swim Club
Descending series at anaerobic threshold (active recovery). Pace times can be adjusted according to level of swimmer.
Apr 2, 2015 – Podium Swim Club / DCC H.S. – Distance Pacing
At the high school where I coach, every week there are sets where we break up the sprinters and the distance guys.
Apr 6, 2015 – T2 Aquatics – Back-Breast-Free 150s
We got our week started with a set of long course 150’s Back-Breast-Free x50.
Mar 30, 2015 – Scarborough Swim Club
With The Canadian trial for World Championships and the Pan Am Games taking place in our pool this week. I was forced to relocate my practices to a different pool.
Mar 31, 2015 – T2 Aquatics – Freestyle 200-400 Pace Set
An ability to hit exact times is the hallmark of a great athlete. Additionally, if you are going to go to a competition and attempt to achieve a certain time, attempting and hitting your “predicted” times in practice is the best way to get good at this skill.
Mar 29, 2015 – Scarborough Swim Club
This was a workout we did with swimmers from two other Toronto area swim clubs at the Pan Am Pool. We had 10 swimmers from the Whitby Dolphins and another 10 or so swimmers from the Granite Club Gators.
