This Thursday morning session was thought as a preparation for the anaerobic focused workout in the afternoon. Lots of drills and some good stroke work made for a long warm-up followed by a short main part with some racing skills . . .

Mar 8, 2016 – Podium Swim Club – High School Meet Week Kick-Off
Two weeks into our regular High School season, and we have a meet coming up. With that in mind, we are starting to have fully periodized weeks.
Mar 17, 2016 – Plantation Swim Team – Pre-Meet Warm-Up
Pre-meet warm-up with some solid pace 50s and sprint work. Finishing up with some overspeed work using our fins.
Sep 9, 2015 – Limmat Sharks Zurich
Aerobic afternoon session with short sprints using anti-paddles in the beginning of the main set to focus on our catch. The main focus for this workout was on the "overspeed" set using fins and paddles towards the middle . . .

Mar 23, 2016 – Ellesmere College Titans – 200 Race Pace Set
Workout focusing on 200 race pace with sets of 50’s during the main set after a good 2k warm-up. Finishing up the day with some removal kicking work.

Our first Saturday practice of the regular season - and we really hit it hard today. Some solid threshold sets, and as always some solid kicking . . .
