Two for one from the team in Vevey. Basic aerobic work in the morning followed by a 15×100 best average test set in the afternoon.
Saturday morning workout with a max effort kicking focused main set from the team in Vevey.
Drill focused Friday morning workout with some short pace swims from the Fighting Manatee Swim Team.

Bonus workout from the Fighting Manatees as they usually don’t swim on Saturday mornings. Goal was to break 5k, getting through it as “quickly” as possible, keep it challenging but something everyone on the team could finish.
Mixing it up on Monday morning to start the week with the Fighting Manatee Swim Team using lots of equipment and playing around with some challenging drills.

This workout was written for professional Ironman athlete Mike Aigroz a few weeks before the 2011 Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Mix of aerobic and speed work to get used to the possible rhythm changes of the Open Water swim.
