Starting this week with another shorter Monday evening session with a mix of aerobic kicking and sprints in the pool alternating with the dryland as we were again running two groups.
Speed focused Saturday morning including some fast 50’s kicking and fast 25’s swimming. We were again split up in two groups with each spending 1h in the pool and 1h on dryland.
The goal of this Friday evening workout for our National & Junior National groups was recovery with the focus in the pool set on kicking and breath control.
Following a similar plan like we did on Tuesday morning with aerobic and stroke focused work for the student-athletes this Thursday. Again keeping the intensity low as they will have another fast evening session with the rest of the team in the evening.

Shorter and relaxed Monday evening session in the pool for the National & Junior National groups with a mix of low-end aerobic swimming and kicking following some dryland.
For our first meet of the new season we went back to the pool in Aarau where it all ended for us in the summer at Swiss Junior Nationals joining the local SC Aarefisch for their team champs.
Pre-meet recovery focused Friday evening workout mixing some relaxed swimming and kicking.
First morning practice of the new season for our student-athletes of the sports class with some fresh faces and a “guest” from a nearby club team. An aerobic and main stroke focused workout to kick-off their day.
Sprint focused Wednesday evening workout for the National & Junior National groups. Today we were finally able to train indoors again, however, needed to split the team in two training groups with one starting in the pool while the other did some dryland first as we only had a single lane available for the practice.
