Optional mid-week recovery workout providing the athletes with a first opportunity to swim outdoors and long course ahead of competing at the Regional Championship over the weekend.
Aerobic and speed in the morning with the student-athletes of the sports class followed by a lacate focused workout with the full team in the evening.
Recovery focused Monday evening workout to continue our two week “mini-cycle” leading into the Regional Championship meet. Including “different movements” for everybody today with some fly or breast work while also providing an opportunity for individual work at the end.
Aerobic and kicking focused Saturday morning workout for the Junior & Senior group. Mostly relaxed swimming this morning with just a little bit of “resistance” work during the sets of 50’s kicking through the middle part of the session.
Recovery focused Friday session with some relaxed aerobic work all based on rest intervals as the pool doesn’t have any clocks and we also wanted everybody to go at their own pace this evening.
Low-end aerobic morning workout for the student-athletes with a freestyle and a main stroke focused part. This Thursday morning provided an additional recovery opportunity to the athletes of the sports class ahead of the second lactate practice of this week.
Relaxed aerobic work through the first part and some main stroke & speed work through the second part of today’s morning session for the student-athletes to prepare for the hard evening practice with the rest of the team.
Short Monday evening workout introducing the “lactate” focus for the Senior & Junior group for the coming two training weeks as we approach our last meet before the end of season championships.
Optional post-meet recovery Sunday morning practice with variations for our event groups during the last part of the workout including a little more kicking or pulling.
Outdoor Friday evening workout providing our athletes with an opportunity to swim long course ahead of our “training” meet in Burgdorf on Saturday.
