Recovery focused Friday evening session with some relaxed aerobic work all based on rest intervals including two different options depending on the target meet for this end of season.
Aerobic focused morning with the student-athletes of the sports class including a few short sprint sets. We’re still keeping the volume close to normal with these athletes even a week out of their championship meet.
Optional mid-week aerobic recovery focused evening workout for the Junior & Senior group at the outdoor pool in Solothurn. The last part this Wednesday was completely up to the athletes as we approach the end of season championship meets.
Aerobic day of training following a full day of rest coming of the two day Regional Championship meet. The student-athletes started with a recovery focused morning workout while the evening session with the full team included more kicking and some speed work.
While a small number of athletes from our Senior & Junior group were competing in the first session at the Regional Championship everybody else was doing their recovery workout to prepare for the meet.
Aerobic focused day of training ahead of the Regional Championship. “Modified kick-pull-swim pattern” in the morning with the student-athletes of the sports class.
Optional mid-week recovery workout providing the athletes with a first opportunity to swim outdoors and long course ahead of competing at the Regional Championship over the weekend.
Aerobic and speed in the morning with the student-athletes of the sports class followed by a lacate focused workout with the full team in the evening.
Recovery focused Monday evening workout to continue our two week “mini-cycle” leading into the Regional Championship meet. Including “different movements” for everybody today with some fly or breast work while also providing an opportunity for individual work at the end.
Aerobic and kicking focused Saturday morning workout for the Junior & Senior group. Mostly relaxed swimming this morning with just a little bit of “resistance” work during the sets of 50’s kicking through the middle part of the session.
