Jun 16, 2021 – Swim Regio Solothurn

Optional mid-week recovery workout providing the athletes with a first opportunity to swim outdoors and long course ahead of competing at the Regional Championship over the weekend. This Wednesday evening practice was a “go at your own pace” session – allowing them to focus on themselves and really recover (instead of chasing other people in the group) and also because summer hasn’t quite arrived in Switzerland, so keeping moving to stay “warm” was a “necessity”.

Workout PM

Part 1:
400 reverse IM (free breathe 5, back swim, fly & breast drill)
4×100 as 25 scull, 75 free (25 fist drill, 75 swim DPS) R15″
6×50 as 4x back, 1x fly one arm drill or breast w/fly kick, 1x double arm back R10″

Part 2:
300 reverse IM (free breathe 5, back swim, fly & breast drill)
3×100 as 25 free fist drill, 25 scull, 50 free swim DPS R15″
4×50 as 2x back, 1x fly one arm drill or breast w/fly kick, 1x double arm back R10″

Part 3:
2×200 IM as 1x (25 kick, 25 swim), 1x (25 drill, 25 swim) R20″
2×100 as 75 free (25 fist drill, 50 swim DPS), 25 scull R15″
2×50 as 1x fly one arm drill or breast w/fly kick, 1x double arm back R10″

WORKOUT TOTAL: 2600
