We continue our taper – three full weeks of taper to be exact; so it’s not entirely easy at the beginning!

Short Course recovery focused session – essentially going twelve variations of 400’s during this fourth day of our first week of this training cycle.
May 1, 2018 – Podium Swimming – High School Day 50 – Taper Day 2 – Recovery
Easier day on day two of taper. Still including some quality burst efforts, but we start with some good aerobic swimming including some fast efforts.

Tuesday doubles with an aerobic focus integrating some speed work. In the morning there were more opportunities for the athletes to work on their technique with a good amount of drill work . . .
