Thursday evening with a “typical” speed session including short sprints and lots of recovery from the Lancy Natation Elite group.
For some athletes on our squad getting out of bed and making it to morning practice isn’t an easy task. The next important step, we at Vevey need to work on, is getting our athletes ready to perform in the morning. It’s part of what they will have to do at the big end of season meets.
Two workouts from the Lancy Natation Elite group. Easy distance and IM in the morning. The afternoon session includes the details from their fly group with more of a focus on speed.
This workout was a long course practice designed to increase aerobic capacity in our T2 athletes. Nice way to start the week!
Morning workout from the Lancy Natation Elite group with an 8×50’s test set also known as “Russian Numbers”.
Saturday morning workout from the Lancy Natation Elite group focusing on building and improving that crucial front end speed off the blocks.
Distance oriented workout mixed up with some short sprints from the Lancy Natation Elite group.
This a “breaststroke” workout, with a fly bonus set. The breaststroke set incorporates a drill “2 on 2 under” as a major part of the set.
This is day eleven and the last day of training from the Lancy Natation Elite group Christmas training trip in Tenerife. The group had two pool sessions this Saturday, however, only the evening practice was recorded.
