Thursday evening workout for the Senior & Junior group including “R&R” (race pace & recovery). Although the focus was on the race pace efforts, we were also aiming to provide enough recovery with “our taper meet” coming up on the weekend.

Hump day starting with a sprint focused morning session including aerobic elements for active recovery. Knowing that we were going to split up into our event groups for the evening session and get a little more volume training long course, we finished the morning workout with a “special” last part doing some vertical kicking and a few floating drills.

Second evening of our 2 day racing practices. The athletes were given time for their meet warm-up routine and to change into their race suits. They got to choose “just” one event before we had everybody swim down together.

Aerobic focused Wednesday session for the Junior & Senior athletes starting with our “Point 0” and a common first part including some race skills before splitting into different groups for the “main set” this evening.

Relaxed start into the new week after two days off over the Easter holiday. Both sessions this Tuesday were mostly aerobic focused including some quality sprints in the evening.

Last one, fast one! Finishing another week of training with race pace and overspeed work while also including a little bit more “recovery” through the swim down part this Saturday morning.

Relaxed aerobic focused Thursday morning workout for the student-athletes of the sports class. We included some speed work with a couple fast 25’s and some short sprints to prepare them for the race pace work in the evening with the rest of the team.
