Recovery focused Sunday afternoon workout for the Senior group in Solothurn following our “race day” with prelims and finals simulation during our two Saturday practices.
Recovery and skills focused Friday for the Senior group in Solothurn. The morning session was a mix of aerobic and sprint work including a good amount of kicking.
Aerobic focused Thursday evening session following a “kick-pull-swim” pattern through all three parts of the workout.
Following a day off, we continued our training with an aerobic morning offering different options for our event groups and again increasing the intensity in the afternoon for more threshold work.
Starting week two of our fall holiday training with an aerobic morning following a “kick-pull-swim” pattern through the different blocks and increasing the intensity in the afternoon doing some threshold work.
Sunday afternoon session focusing on racing skills with a dedicated 20 minutes block of starts & turns work complemented with some relaxed aerobic parts for recovery.
Speed endurance focused Saturday morning workout followed by aerobic recovery in the afternoon. We were also looking into how to “build a meet warm-up” this morning and dedicated some time to explaining the different steps during the first part of the session.
Aerobic focused day of training aiming to recover during the morning session and including plenty of kicking during the evening workout. Both sessions this Friday had a “team part” in the beginning before splitting into groups.
Speed endurance focused Thursday evening workout for the Senior group. Today we were not only aiming at holding tempo but also making the fast efforts faster as the distances decreased during the different sets.
First day of our fall holiday training starting mid-week with an aerobic focused hump day session to get back in the swing of things after two days off. The morning workout followed a “kick-pull-swim” pattern while the afternoon incorporated overspeed work.
