Aerobic focused Wednesday morning for the team in Biel integrating lots of drills and kicking as well as some pulling through the first three parts of the workout.
This Tuesday included a pretty relaxed morning and a rather intense evening workout for the team in Biel.
This Wednesday, I had to go to the pool a bit earlier than usual and had also less time at my disposal. Still got a good workout in and was trying to slowly integrate more “regular sets” into my routine.
This Monday started my last week with the team in Biel already and with the good progress working together over the last weeks, we combined elements from the previous training weeks with the longer uninterrupted swimming and bigger kicking focused main sets.
Saturday morning “racing” practice for the Beluga kids in Biel. They will soon have their first competition of the season and today we really wanted to hone in on starts and underwaters with a couple high quality sprints.
Finishing this week of training with a low-end aerobic morning workout integrating kicking, pulling, and some breath control.
Onto week two and slowly starting to have a better feel for the water again. Not aiming to push volume or do any “crazy” things, however, trying to integrate a couple faster efforts with the underwater kicking sprints towards the end.
Aerobic and speed focused Friday for the team in Biel. The morning session was pretty relaxed and low intensity setting up for the evening workout.
Aerobic focused Thursday for the team in Biel mimicking their Tuesday practices, however, including a bit more sprint work and again going for a bigger kicking main set in the evening.
Tuesday evening for the Beluga kids in Biel starting to put the “puzzle pieces” of the last week together and slowly adding a bit more “volume”.
