Dec 1, 2021 – Swim Regio Solothurn

We took two days off following the Regional Championships to recover after this first (long) cycle. This should allow everybody to recharge their batteries as we decided to “extend” the training and aim to keep the form for two more weeks with another short course meet for the Junior athletes (Team Champs) and a long course meet (first qualification opportunity for the summer meets) for all of the National & Junior National group athletes.

This Wednesday evening workout was for the Junior athletes racing at their Team Championships on Sunday. Everybody else had another day off. We just spent a short hour in the pool doing some relaxed aerobic work.

Part 1:
[ 9×100 ]
3×100 w/fins as 50 back, 50 free DPS @1’45;
3×100 w/fins as 50 back, 50 free breathe 5 @1’40;
3×100 free DPS w/fins @1’35

300 choice as 100 kick, 50 drill, 50 kick, 100 drill

Part 2:
[ 12×50 ]
6×50 as 1x back, 1x free breathe 5 @55″;
6×50 free cruise @50″

200 choice as 50 kick, 50 drill, 50 scull, 50 drill

Part 3:
300 choice kick w/fins OR free w/pullbuoy & paddles
200 as 150 free breathe 3-5-7 by 50, 50 double arm back
