Stats & Memberships Report: December 2012

First of all, I would like to wish all of you a Happy New Year! May 2013 be full of hard workouts and fast swimming for your team!

There are some exciting opportunities in 2013 for ProSwimWorkouts to offer even more value to our visitors. Unfortunately, all of them are still in the early planning stage but you’ll be the first ones to know when things start to take off. Also this month, I would like to recommend two of our blog posts, The Fundamentals of Fast Swimming and 1st FINA Gold Medal Swimming Coaches Clinic, both with great video input.

Last December we welcomed Pieter Ritz, Graduate Assistant Coach at Henderson State University, as a new Contributing Coach. You can find his first workout from Henderson’s distance group in our archives.

Conclusion

2012 has been quite a year for ProSwimWorkouts. The site launched back in November 2011 but we really got started in January 2012. One of our biggest challenge is to get enough new premium members, so we can continue to support our Contributing Coaches and help the swimming community.

The “core” team, Coach Paul Yetter, Coach Fredrik Lundin and myself, are committed to invest our spare time to share workouts and keep improving what ProSwimWorkouts has to offer for its members. And with more and more coaches joining the site, ProSwimWorkouts should soon become your number one spot to find any type of swim workout!
